School camp　1st Day

 The School Camp has finally began!  The students looked a little nervous, perhaps because they were surrounded by so many teachers?!

April 10th  

Everyone said a few words about their enthusiasm for the camp at the entrance ceremony.  Each student expressed their own goals like improving their English ability as much as possible in the three weeks, and deepening their relationship with friends.  Try your best! 

Everyone lined up and listened carefully to the speech of the Vice Principal.  Maybe both teachers and students were the same in being filled with both expectations and anxieties.

The students listened to the dorm mother talk about the various things they are to be aware of during the camp.  She also spoke about how to remain healthy.  For some of the students, this will be the first time for them to be away from their parents for such a long time.  Please follow all the rules and have a fun camp experience.

 The boys began to play at the lobby as soon as the camp was over.  Immediately after photo was taken, a major Monopoly competition started with the teachers.  The grand winner was… of course, not a student but their class room teacher Ms Y!

April 11th

Home Study is the time where all students do their homework together.  Everyone came out of their rooms with so many files!  Everyone has started on his or her work.  Will they finish all of their assignments? 

 Private English lessons are also being held while the students are studying together for home study.  Intensive instruction is given by native English teachers so the students will get used to the all-English lessons coming up in three weeks.

No one thought they will be needing a dictionary in science class?!

No, no, dictionaries are required in every class because they even science is taught in English.  It looks like the students are studying really hard.

Two more hours of self-study following a 7 period school day can be quite trying!  But the girls are quite eager!  They asked for extra handouts to study on their own.  Keep it up!

In the end of the study session, Monopoly finally won out.

Was there revenge for the day before?

  Having parted from their parents for the first time, this was what the night of the 10^th was like.  What do you think?  We’ll have another update as soon as possible so please look forward to it.  Even the teachers are surprised by the student’s dedication towards studying!
